JBB Corrina 553 (aka Joy) was selected Reserve Grand Champion Beefbuilder at the 2016 Tulsa State Fair for Coy Pittman of Canadian Texas.

Certificate heifer JBB Corrina 553 (aka Joy) won by Coy Pittman at the Clarendon Judging contest in Sept 2015.
She placed first is her class at Hemphill County show.

The 2016 National Junior Braunvieh Shoot Out is in the history books.. A great show of kids, cattle and families from across the USA. We are happy to be a part of the Texas Braunvieh Association that helped host this event in Greenville, Texas. Already looking forward to next year..

2016 - 2015 NEWS

The 2016 Braunvieh Beef Clinic held at Clarendon College on Sept 10 was a resounding success for the Texas Braunvieh Association and Clarendon College.

They had a total of 168 youth attend the judging contest. Collegiate contestants came from Murray State, Tishmingo, Oklahoma, Panhandle State University, Goodwell Oklahoma and Clarendon College.

Senior and Junior 4-H and FFA contestants came from all over the Panhandle area and from as far south as Three Rivers, South of SanAntonio.

They interviewed 19 applicants for the Heifer Incentive Program and 10 were selected from an outstanding group of applicants, to receive a $1,500.00 certificate towards the purchase of a Braunvieh show heifer. Braunvieh breeders that donated heifer certificates are Circle C Ranch, Estelline Tx, Vivid Earth Cattle Co, Santa Ynez, Ca, SLS Brauvieh, Santa Ynez Ca, Salt Creek Ranch, Memphis, Tx , Jimi Vivens, Estelline, Tx and J Bar Braunvieh, Hedley, Tx

We were with friends displaying Braunvieh cattle at the Cattle Raisers Convention in Ft Worth April 8-9.  Thank you to all that stopped by and visit with us and other breeders.

4-H and FFA beef cattle judging contest was held at Clarendon College September 12th. This was open to all 4-H and FFA MEMBERS in the state. The high point junior and senior judges received a certificate valued at $1,500.00 to go towards the purchase of a Braunvieh heifer from J Bar Braunvieh and Diamond H Braunvieh.  The top 3 in each division received buckles and Kyle Stewart, Ag teacher from Highland Park, won the adult jackpot judging.   The top 10 received awards. Cattle were provided by  J Bar Braunvieh and Circle C Ranch for judging.  Display cattle were provided by Star Ranch - Leslie and Molly Mirassou of Weatherford, Texas.  This will be an annual event and two more are being planned for East Texas and South Central Texas. Make plans to attend.
